Telstra have announced that on 31 October 2024, the Telstra TV service will be shutdown.
This means you won’t be able to access any streaming app services on this device, including SBS On Demand, after this date.
Although the Telstra TV service will be decommissioned, you can continue to access SBS On Demand using your existing TV or device in any of the following ways:
- You can plug your laptop or mobile device into your TV using an HDMI cable.
- You can Chromecast from an iOS or Android device, or from our website to your television;
- Using the HDMI port on your existing television, you can plug in an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Google TV
- You can use a set-top box with the SBS On Demand app available across Apple TV, Android TV, Fetch or Foxtel iQ.
- The SBS On Demand app is also available to download on Samsung, LG and Hisense smart televisions from 2017 and later, and televisions with an OS of Android 9 or later.
- Selected televisions support AirPlay from the SBS On Demand app on iOS devices. Click here to find out more information.
