We are aware that some of our Hisense customers, specifically those on 2017 models are experiencing issues opening the SBS On Demand app, with the app not loading past the initial yellow splash screen.
Affected 2017 models include:
- 32N4
- 39N4
- 50N4
- 55N4
Our teams are in the process of rebuilding the Connected TV app, and the release is targeted for the second half of 2025.
Whilst we await the rebuild, we recommend that affected Hisense customers use another device to access SBS On Demand. Using your existing Hisense television, you can:
- Use the HDMI port on your television to plug in a Chromecast with Google TV or an Amazon Fire TV;
- Use the HDMI port on your television with a set-top box with the SBS On Demand app available across Apple TV, Fetch, Hubbl or Foxtel iQ.;
- Plug your laptop or mobile device into your TV using an HDMI cable.
- Chromecast from an iOS or Android device, or from our website to your television;
