An account is required in order to access the programs on SBS On Demand.
Creating an account with SBS on Demand is free, quick and easy. To set up an account, you'll need to share a:
- First name
- Birth year
- Gender
- Valid email address and
- A password of your choosing which must contain a minimum of 5 letters and a number

SBS On Demand Website:
To create an account via the SBS On Demand website, simply visit: https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/ and click on "Create Account" in the top right hand corner.
You'll then be prompted for your account information.
Once the above details have been entered, click on "Create Account" and you'll see a notification advising an email has been sent to your inbox to verify your account.
Please check your spam and junk inboxes for the verification email. Once you locate the email, click on the link in the email to verify your account.
SBS On Demand Smart TV Application
After scanning the QR code on your TV screen, tap the create account button on your mobile.
- First name
- Email address
- Password - your chosen password must be at least 5 characters with a number
- Birth year
- Gender
You'll need to verify your email address by tapping on the verification link sent to your nominated email address
Tap Sign in to complete login.
iOS & Android
Tap on the "profile icon" at the top of our SBS On Demand application.
Select "Create An Account"
Follow the prompts to create a new account.
You can now go ahead and sign in to SBS On Demand! Happy viewing!
