There are two ways to sign into the SBS On Demand app on your Apple TV. You can either sign in via an on-screen QR code by heading to: sbs.com.au/connect or by using your remote and signing in manually with your email address and password.
Signing in with Remote
If you find yourself needing a little help setting up your Apple TV or creating an account, we've included a step-by-step set of instructions to assist.
Step 1
You'll need an account to access SBS On Demand. It's free, quick and easy. For more information on how an account is required to watch, please head here.
Step 2
If you do not wish to sign into your account via the QR Code, select: Sign in with Remote and click on Sign In to commence the login process.
Step 3
You can either choose to sign in with an email address "that has been used previously", or enter a completely new email address by using the on-screen keyboard and tracking pad on your Apple TV remote.
Once your email address has been typed into the field correctly, select Next
If you have an existing account with SBS On Demand
The following page will prompt you to sign into your account with your password.
Select Enter password manually
Finally, type in your password into the box using the on-screen keyboard and the trackpad on your Apple TV remote. When your password is typed into the field correctly, select Next.
If you do not have an existing account with SBS On Demand
The following screen will appear.
You'll receive an account creation email in your inbox that looks like this:
