SBS On Demand is available in the following languages across our website, smart tv and mobile applications:
- Arabic
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Chinese (Traditional)
- Hindi
- Korean
- Vietnamese
To select your preferred language, follow the steps below for each device.
Website
Head to the SBS On Demand website at: https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/, click on the profile icon in the top right hand corner and select "Language".
Select your preferred language from the available options.
Smart TV: Samsung, LG, Hisense 2021 & above models
Foxtel iQ3, iQ4, iQ5 and Hubbl
Android and Google Televisions, Chromecast with Google TV, Google TV Streamer
From the Home page, select the "Settings" option in the bottom-left corner.
In the App Settings menu, scroll down to the "Language" section.
Select your preferred language from the available options.
iOS and Android mobile/tablet
From the Home page, select the profile icon in the top-right corner to access the Account and Settings menu.
Tap on the "Language" option to open the language settings on your device.
Choose your preferred language from the available options.
Collections
SBS On Demand also offers collections in a range of languages.
To find the language collections on our platforms, make sure you're on the Home page of the app. Then, scroll down to the "Browse By Collection" section and select the "Browse By Language" collection.

Note: content in our "Browse By Language" collection currently defaults to your chosen language on the platform.
