If you find that the SBS On Demand app is not opening or loading up correctly on your Apple TV then we recommend following the troubleshooting steps listed below:
Ensure your Apple TV is running on the latest tvOS version.
- Select the "Settings" icon on your menu and then
- Select Software Updates and Update Software.
If there is an update, select "Download and Install". Wait for your Apple TV to download the app. Ensure your Apple TV is connected to the internet and plugged in until the update is complete.
After the update concludes, your Apple TV will restart, prepare the update and then install it. Once this is completed, your Apple TV will automatically restart again.
Check your internet connection
- Restart your network connection
- Internet connection may be too slow to retrieve content from the server
Check that you have the most up to date app version of SBS On Demand.
- Check the app version from the app settings; or
- Go to the App store from the device and search 'SBS On Demand'. Select 'update'.
Delete the app
- Delete the app from the Home screen
- Reinstall from the App store
Power cycle your device
- Unplug the Apple TV 4 device from the plug source for 5mins
- Reconnect device
- Restart app
