Fetch set top boxes are currently experiencing some limitations in which English subtitles are not being displayed for LOTE (Language Other Than English) dialogue in some programs. Examples include: The Old Man, Safe Home & Paris Has Fallen.
Because of this limitation, no English subtitles are appearing when the character's speak in another language other then English (e.g. Arabic, Mandarin or a native language).
English Subtitles will need to be enabled manually via the player. A detailed guide and illustrations have been attached below.
- Start the video. From the player, tap on the up arrow on your Fetch remote.
- Move along the options using the right arrow on your remote to the Accessibility icon.
- Press on the paw button on your Fetch remote to bring up a Subtitle menu.
- Under Subtitles press on the down arrow on your remote to select "ENGLISH (Forced)" and press on the paw button
English subtitles will then appear on your screen.
